COMMISSION - Princess Irisi awaken

I've seen many artworks and masterworks from you, DarkShadow, but this one I think defines Realism, which is what I like to see in artworks.

When I see Princess Irisi in this piece, I hear her saying, "Where am I? And how did I get here?" as if she's just waking up from a deep sleep. That sleep could have been induced upon her by some form of sedative. It could have been chloroform, sleeping gas, or a poison dart laced with a tranquilizer. Either way, from the expression she gives in this drawing, she's disoriented and is slowly recovering.

And based on the background, something tells me (at least, in my opinion) that she was taken hostage by desert bandits, who plan to ransom her kingdom for her safety. (But, knowing desert bandits, they plan on keeping her prisoner and spiriting her away to some remote hideaway, where her kingdom will never find her.)
